Hello. My name is Charlisse and this is my professional learning portfolio. (Just as it says in the large, bold letters on the top of this page) Education is my number one priority, I am constantly wanting to learn more by reading and writing which are actually things I strongly enjoy to do. I find that writing either fictional or nonfictional stories helps me in a way to quietly let my imagination and thinking speak loudly with words written on paper. Other things, such as photography and sports (that do not include balls), are extra curricular activities in which I also adore. I love photography so much that I have decided I am just going to fill this professional learning portfolio with tons of my pictures. And yes, I will as well be placing some of my written and audiovisual pieces on this website. On that note, sit down, lean back, and just take your time reading all my crazy ideas.
**All the header pictures are mine** Sincerely, Charlisse |
What is a PLP and what's mine about?
A PLP, or professional learning portfolio, is a place where I am allowed to share all of my works done for my amazing, lovely teacher, Mrs. Gunter. She has authorized us to creating a PLP where all of our work for eighth grade will be organized and possibly stored for embarrassing memories to look back at in the future. If you click on the "MENU" tab on the upper right hand corner of this website, you will see it leading to three other tabs. First, you will see "BLOG". The blog page is where I weekly enter blog posts about the importance of what we are learning, going over, or talking about in class. Next, is "WRITER'S WORKSHOP PIECES". Writer's Workshop is actually something we get to do in class, and it always keeps me interested into attending the next class. We write about many things and my favorite pieces from my decision will be entered on that page. Finally, we have "AUDIOVISUAL PIECES". This tab includes many of my, well, audiovisual pieces. There will be infographics, animations, films, etc. Now that I've explained, go to the "MENU" tab and explore!
